Environmental Footprinting

Carbon footprinting and, more recently, water footprinting have become popular mechanisms for organisations to assess their impact. The looming carbon tax has made carbon footprinting a necessity for larger emitters.

This work is based on the Greenhouse Gas Protocol and several international standards. ESS has partnered with Promethium to offer training on climate change and carbon management.

Off-setting strategies are developed to reduce or neutralise environmental footprints.

Environmental footprinting can be integrated with Environmental Management Accounting and Material Flow Cost Accounting.
