Due Diligence Audits
Before making large investments or funding major projects financial institutions and other companies commission a due diligence audit to assess the risk of environmental and social liabilities and issues associated with the investment or project. The Equator Principles and the International Finance Corporation (IFC) Performance Standards on Social and Environmental Sustainability are the most widely used criteria for these audits.
ESS conducts due diligence audits on investments or projects for clients.
